7 months old

Sloane is 7 months old as of yesterday. Can you believe that? We took her 7 month old pictures at the pumpkin patch. She was so entertained by all the activity going on around here there was really no chance in getting her to smile at the camera.

It is so much fun watching her looks change and her reaching new milestones but I cant even look at her 3 month old pictures without crying. I am sad that she is growing so fast. I am scared I will miss something or that the moment is going to pass by too quickly. I am so fortunate and grateful to be able to spend every day with her. She lights up my whole life and makes me smile and laugh every single day. She is the cutest most special little person I have ever seen in my life. Of course she is ours.....and that is the best part! She loves to play with her daddy and he lives to make her laugh and smile. I think she turns to me for food and to be rocked and comforted when she is sleepy and she views him as her entertainer and also she likes to receive love from him as well. She hugs him and they are a sight. A few days before her 6 month old birthday she got sick with a bad cold. She was coughing terribly. We were at Aunt Dana's and when we got home we went straight to see Dr. Hayes. She had an ear infection and that first night we were home she was up coughing all night. Jeremy held her and got very teary eyed because it broke his heart to see her like that as it did mine. There was nothing we could do for her except be there for her and hold her. That was really all she wanted. Its amazing what a parents love will do for a child. There is no great medicine than love.
