So maybe I am not a blogger. Really, I have not done anything on here since it snowed. Sad. As Jacqueline says, Sloane will be sad that I didn't blog. Wow she put the guilt trip on. So anyhow, I have been off of work for 2 full weeks now (2 working weeks). I actually have been very busy. I put off doing so many things that I needed to do because of being pregnant and working there was no energy for anything else. The first week was getting D.L. renewed, social security office (I finally got my last name changed..6 months later...oops) finishing Sloane's room, dentist, doctor appointments, car inspection and oil change ect...I was running around town like crazy. Since Jeremy has not been going on any over night work trips he has been working from home so I have gotten to spend a little more time with him than usual. Its nice to have lunch with him once or twice a week. The second week of being at home has been a little more relaxed. I am starting to be able to do less and less but I am still trying to walk alot even though it can be painful. Jeremy has helped with cooking dinner. After him cooking 3 nights in a row I felt bad so I have cooked the last 2 nights. Mom was off 2 days last week so Wednesday and Thursday she spent the whole day with me and that was nice. She went to the doctor with me where I experienced a painful procedure the dr. decided to do to try and help get the dilation process started. I have had on and off contractions ever since then....but nothing for sure just yet. I will be induced on Wednesday the 24th (Dana's due date) if she doesn't come on her own before then. It really doesnt seem like Sloane wants to come out. This whole time I have felt sad for her thinking about how crammed she is in there and feel bad for her every time she gets the hic -ups but I have come to the realization that she is happy in there. Everyone asks me if I think she has dropped, I honestly dont think she has. I still feel pain in my ribs at times so that must be her little legs and feet. Her head is in the right position so that is good but I wouldnt imagine that I would still be having rib pain if she had dropped. But what do I know, some people say it looks like she has. ???? I am clueless really.
Here are some pics of her room and dinner last night. The night before last it was an Italian version of pork chops and mac and cheese. This mac and cheese has 3 types of cheese in it and is a pain to make. Jeremy likes it so I make it. Last night I made Shrimp kabobs (with mango, red bell pepper and red onions) and rib eye on the grill with fried rice. Kabobs and steak were so good but the fried rice sucked!!!!!!
Sloane's room is adorable! You have done such a great job and your love for her is visible already! :) The kabobs looked yummy! Wish I could have come over for dinner :)
ReplyDeleteLove you tons!
