My hubbie took me to New Orleans for my birthday and it was such a great time. It was my first time to visit New Orleans and its a very neat place to visit and very different from anywhere else I have been. The food is amazing there!!! Cant wait to go back when I am not pregnant ;)

We spent half of one of our days there doing a swamp tour and that was pretty neat. Jeremy got to hold a baby alligator. I passed on that.

Cousin Lynseys Wedding

Sloane was in her first wedding a few weekends ago in Austin. She did such a great job. Poor little girl was only in the beginning 2nd week of her cast but she didnt let that slow her down for one second. By the time we made it back to Dallas she had a hole in the bottom of her cast because she ran around so much. The day of the wedding we had a lot of time to kill during the day so we took Sloane to the Lakeline mall and did some shopping. We found shoes for her for the wedding, Daddy got new work shoes, cologne from abercrombie (dont forget daddy that was an early birthday present)! Sloane rode the carousel there in the mall and she enjoyed that very much. We tried to take our picture with the Easter bunny but Sloane was terrified so that did not work out. I am not such a huge fan of Santa, or the Easter Bunny but this Easter bunny was the best one I have ever seen. He reminded me of the bunny from Alice in Wonderland with the wiry glasses. Anyhow, that did not work out but we had a great time at the mall with her. That night was the wedding and it was a nice time. Congratulations to you Lynsey!!

EASTER AT OUR HOUSE

Sloane turns ONE!!!!!

We had such a great time at Sloane's first birthday bash. All of the family came and several friends with their little ones. The bounce house carousel was a hit as well as the YUMMY cake. Sloane was such a GREAT birthday girl. She sat there in the chair while I opened every present. She looked at every gift and was excited about all of her new gifts. She is the best one year old anyone could ask for. Watching her grow this past year has been amazing. She is her own little person and her personality is hilarious and she makes us laugh and smile every day. We love you little Sloane! Happy Birthday to you!
